Repairs & Remakes

At Wrought in Heaven Jewelry, every piece is handcrafted and made specifically for you. I take great pride in creating heirloom-quality pieces designed to be worn and enjoyed for years to come. If your piece is damaged or needs to be remade, I'll work with you to determine the best solution.

Repairs

If your Wrought in Heaven Jewelry piece becomes damaged through normal wear, please contact me before attempting any repairs yourself. Depending on the condition of the piece, I may be able to restore it.

Repair services may include:

  • Straightening bent components

  • Refinishing and repolishing

  • Soldering broken connections

  • Replacing damaged findings or hardware, when possible

  • Other repairs evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Repair costs vary depending on the extent of the damage and the labor required. A repair estimate will be provided before any work begins.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from the studio unless otherwise agreed upon.

*Please Note: if a client's nail size changes, a new impression kit may be required before a remake can be made. In such cases, additional charges and postage may be required by client.

Remakes

Because every piece is custom-made, remakes are evaluated individually.

A remake may be appropriate if:

  • Your original piece has been lost beyond repair.

  • Your nail size has changed significantly over time.

  • A custom-fit piece no longer fits properly due to changes in your natural nails.

  • A design requires complete reconstruction rather than repair.

Since each remake requires new materials and significant handcrafting, remake pricing will depend on the amount of the original piece that can be reused, the current cost of materials, and the labor involved. Whenever possible, existing precious metal from your original piece may be incorporated into the remake.

Items Eligible for Service

To ensure the quality and integrity of my work, I only repair or remake pieces originally created by Wrought in Heaven Jewelry.

Requesting a Repair or Remake

To begin the process, please contact me with:

  • Your name

  • Your order number (if available)

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the piece

I'll review your request and provide recommendations, an estimate, and an expected turnaround time before any work begins.

Thank you for trusting Wrought in Heaven Jewelry. My goal is to create pieces that can be cared for, restored, and enjoyed for many years.
