About
When I was 13 years old, I started making beaded bracelets and necklaces for friends and teachers at school. I would sell them for dirt cheap, not having any clue as to what to charge, and even though I was technically losing money, I sure was having a great time creating these safety pin and friendship bracelets for people. There are few things I remember from my past, but I'll never forget how much joy it gave me to sit on the mustard yellow shag carpet in a tiny corner of my bedroom floor- set up with all sorts of seed beads stored in little vials, shells, suede lace, safety pins strung on elastic, and various fishing hooks turned into jewelry.
It wasn't until 10 years later that I would learn how to cast and fabricate, taking various courses at community colleges in the Southern California. Back then I was drinking pretty heavily and wasn't fully committed to anything except for the party lifestyle. So, that took precedence over anything else in my life until I turned 39, when I got sober. I made a living waitressing throughout my life and I still serve tables part time to make ends meet.
Once I got sober I decided to go back to college seriously, this time to obtain a degree so I could change my career to make at living at my passion, doing something creative. In May of 2026, I will hold a Bachelor's degree in Design from CSULB, and I also hold an AA degree in Studio Arts from LBCC. I currently reside in Long Beach, California where I make all of my creations from our garage in the backyard. While my partner, Brian, helps support me through life, I am the only person currently working on this business that I have created in January 2025.
It is my intention of someday making a living solely from this business, and I have really big plans for Wrought in Heaven Jewelry. Although I have launched this business creating only custom made precious metal press-on nails, I have plans to expand by making traditional jewelry as well, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and accessories. I am going to also create V.I.P. access only to new drops, create a subscription model, do pop-ups and much more, so be sure to sign up to the newsletter for up and coming plans and launches.
